噶奇美多傑仁波切承擔瑪南閉關園區計畫，尼泊爾噶爾慈愛基金會成立。 在當地村民與政府協助下，園區土地陸續取得。這時還沒有今天的建築圖， 但讓修行重新在瑪南扎根的方向，已經開始。 Chimi Dorjee Rinpoche takes on the Manang retreat campus, and the Gar Jamtse Foundation is established in Nepal. With the help of local villagers and the government, the land is acquired step by step. There were no drawings yet, but the direction was already set.

看見瑪南當地缺少持續聞法與實修的機會，噶奇美多傑仁波切前往拉契， 向直貢澈贊法王請法。這次請法成為同年瑪南大法會的重要起點。 Seeing how little opportunity there was locally to hear and practise the Dharma, Chimi Dorjee Rinpoche travelled to Lapchi to request teachings from His Holiness the Drikung Chetsang Rinpoche. That request became the starting point of the Manang transmission later the same year.

與 SMA(Sustainable Mountain Architecture)展開合作，開始園區總體規劃。 設計從高山環境出發:風、日照、水流、氣候、地形， 以及修行者真正生活在這裡時所需要的條件。 Work begins with SMA (Sustainable Mountain Architecture) on the master plan. The design starts from the mountain itself: wind, sun, water, climate and terrain, and what a practitioner actually needs in order to live here.

直貢澈贊法王親臨瑪南，傳授《大遷識法》與《長壽佛灌頂》， 並與大眾走入這片山谷與修行聖地。法王也實地走入園區土地，聽取規劃與發想。 傳承不再只留在記憶裡，而再次在這片土地上被傳授。 His Holiness comes to Manang, bestows the Phowa transmission and the longevity empowerment, and walks the valley and its sacred sites with everyone present. He also walks the campus land and hears the plans. The lineage is no longer only remembered here; it is taught here again.

園區水系、21 間閉關房與 Grand Café｜齋堂等第一期設施進入設計與工程準備。 The campus water system, the 21 retreat cottages and the Grand Café enter design and engineering preparation.

在噶奇美多傑仁波切請法下，直貢澈贊法王於印度強久林寺法會期間， 任命竹奔嘉瓦為瑪南閉關園區的閉關指導上師。之後，竹奔嘉瓦駐錫瑪南，陪伴山上的閉關與修行。 園區尚未完成，修行已經開始。 At Rinpoche's request, His Holiness appoints Drubpön Gyalwa as retreat master for the Manang campus during the Jangchubling teachings in India. Drubpön Gyalwa then takes up residence in Manang, accompanying the retreats and practice on the mountain. The campus is not finished, but the practice has already begun.

「種子孕育計畫」為第一期工程做施工前準備，主要涵蓋第一階段細部設計、 結構工程圖與審查、建照準備、攝影與媒體製作，以及網站與對外護持平台。 主要設計與結構工程設計經費已獲得護持，計畫因此得以從「準備」走向「施工」。 The seed phase carries out the preparation Phase 1 needs: detailed design, structural drawings and review, permit preparation, photography and media, and the website and support platform. The main design and structural engineering costs were funded, which is what allowed the project to move from preparing to building.

IDCES 結構工程團隊持續進行結構審查。SMA 建築師團隊前往瑪南， 與當地承包商及施工團隊進行現場確認、技術協作與施工準備。 The IDCES structural engineers continue the structural review. The SMA architects travel to Manang for on-site confirmation, technical collaboration and construction preparation with the local contractor and build team.

多津仁波切帶領僧團來到園區，為即將展開的工程舉行祈福。 Dorzin Rinpoche leads the sangha to the site to bless the work about to begin.
